Why a memory foam mattress is right for you

When you sleep at night, you often put large amounts of unneeded stress on several critical areas of your body. Your shoulder and hips if you are a side sleeper, neck if you are a stomach sleeper or lower back and sacrum if you are a back sleeper can all be affected. This leaves you waking up less then refreshed. There is a solution however, and that’s memory foam mattresses. Memory foam contours to your body as your body heat begins to transfer to the memory foam. This helps eliminate the stress on you joints, back and neck.

Spring mattresses were the standard for decades, memory foam mattresses are beginning to be come the bed of the future. Spring mattresses may at first feel great to lay or sit on. But over time the springs will become weak and the bed will slowly bend inward. Due to this you never receive the spinal support you would get with a memory foam mattress.

Many companies offer memory foam mattresses at different qualities. You often will hear the word density thrown around when referring to quality of a bed. The density of memory foam is determined by the weight of one square foot of memory foam mattress. Thus on a 4 pound density mattress, a 1′X1′X1′ square should weigh 4 pounds. It is usually recommended to have anywhere between 3 to 5 pound density for optimal comfort. Many manufacturers however make less dense foam (less then 3 pounds). This can cause you to sink to far into the mattress. We offer, what we consider to be the best night sleep, 5 pound density mattresses.
